Directions and contact

You will find Technopolis along the appropriately named Technologielaan in Mechelen. This is close to the Mechelen-Zuid exit on the E19 and a good 2 km from Mechelen station. We are very easy to reach, however you choose to travel: by car, public transport, bike or on foot.

Free parking

Technopolis has a large car park which is also completely free of charge. No spaces left at the front? You’ll find plenty more free parking at the back of the building.

Charging stations

Our car park has four charging stations. These work with a Nexxtmove subscription from Powerdale or with a QR code (banking apps, Bancontact or Payconiq).

By car

Along the motorway: Technopolis is located beside the E19 (Brussels-Antwerp) motorway. Take exit 10 Mechelen-Zuid and you’ll arrive directly at the car park.

If you are coming via Mechelen, then we recommend driving along the brand new Tangent. You will see Technopolis just before the junction for the E19.

Trein

By train

Take the train to​“Mechelen” station (not Mechelen-Nekkerspoel).

By bike

Several cycle routes are possible from Mechelen station. You can ride along Postzegellaan or along the brand-new ​‘fietsostrade’ cycleway running parallel with the Tangent.

Coming from Zemst? Then follow Brusselsesteenweg towards Mechelen. At the end of Abeelstraat, go left along Zemstbaan. A little further, turn right into the Technopolis car park.

Free bike parking

You can park your bike in the free covered bike storage area. This is unsupervised.

Renting a bike

You can very easily rent a bike at Mechelen station.

By bus

Busses 282 and 682 regularly pass the bus stop at Technopolis. Plan your journey on the De Lijn website. The busses depart from the station in Mechelen. If you don’t mind a short 10-minute walk, you can also take bus 280, 551, 552 or 683 from the station to the Jubellaan stop and walk from there to Technopolis.

If you are coming from Brussels National Airport in Zaventem, you can take bus 282 or 682 until Technopolis.

On foot

At Mechelen Central Station, follow the Stationstraat, which will turn into the Postzegellaan. After the traffic lights, take the second street on your right (Kruisbaan). Take the first left on the Kruisbaan (Zwartkloosterstraat).

At the end of this street, follow the signpost to Technopolis and turn left into the tunnel. This brings you to the Zemstbaan. Further on, turn right onto the Technopolis parking area.
