In this interactive exhibition, visitors are challenged to turn their own ideas into reality.
The hands-on science exhibits cover different themes such as light, physics, animation, music and even poetry. The "open-end" exhibits make a visit to 1-to-Make a unique experience for every single guest. By using their imagination and creativity, visitors of 1-to-Make create a different outcome for each experiment. The exhibition is for everyone from 8 years and up.
What’s to create?
Visitors of 1-to-Make use the laws of physics to overcome frictional forces, to build a solid structure that stands the vibration test, to guide a ball safely through the looping of a rollercoaster or to lead light through an impressive labyrinth.
But not only ‘hard science’ gets a chance. Art-lovers can design a stunning mosaic or generate a mind-blowing piece of classical music. Other exhibits help them to put together a poem using word blocks or to make a spectacular light drawing on a phosphorescent wall.
New multimedia techniques are also displayed. How about mixing your own song and use it as a ringtone, or directing a stop-motion animated film. And he who likes things to get spooky, becomes the mastermind behind a haunted mansion and wakes up the dead when the clock strikes twelve…
