What do you have to do?

First you have to buy a day ticket and use it to visit before the end of the summer holidays. You can buy your ticket online or at the ticket office. On the day of your visit, you can ask for your free annual pass at the reception desk.

Who for?

For all residents of Mechelen, including Heffen, Walem, Muizen, Leest, and Hombeek (postcodes 2800, 2801, 2812, and 2811). To determine whether you are a true ​‘Maneblusser’, we ask that you present not only your day ticket but also your ID card at the reception desk.

What do you get?

Every resident of Mechelen who visits before the end of the summer holidays will receive a free explorer annual pass worth €65. This type of annual pass gives one person free access to Technopolis for a whole year. Are you coming with the whole family and have you bought a day ticket for everyone? Then everyone will receive a separate explorer annual pass!

Things you need to know

To participate in the promotion, you must visit us before 1 September 2025, and ask for your annual pass at the reception desk on the same day.
All you have to do is prove that you live in Mechelen or one of its districts (postcodes 2800, 2801, 2812, and 2811). Your annual pass is personal and can only be used by you.
This promotion cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts. Tickets purchased via UiT-pas or ‘Iedereen verdient vakantie’ are an exception. This promotion does not apply to school or group visits.
When you purchase an annual pass on the day of your visit, you will normally be refunded for your day ticket. However, you will receive your annual pass as a gift, so this rule does not apply.
