Your visit to Technopolis is a gift. For yourself and for others. Over Christmas and the New Year, that’s literally true! 

For every ticket sold up to 4 January, we’ll ensure that someone can go to Technopolis for €2. After all, by no means everyone has the opportunity – but everyone deserves it. 

In total, together with Iedereen Verdient Vakantie, we want to give as many as 25,000 Flemish people a gift they can’t afford. You can help us get there by simply buying a ticket. Your visit matters.

More than an outing

A day at Technopolis is more than just an outing. Our science centre is a place for amazement, where children have the chance to explore and discover. A place where they suddenly realise: ​‘WOW, science is for me too!’. And that’s how new dreams arise.

Every ticket counts

25,000 tickets to welcome 25,000 Flemish people virtually for free. A great target based on our figures from previous years. We’re convinced it can be done if you help out. Every ticket counts: yours too can be someone’s ticket for the future.

Will you help make a difference?

Every ticket and visit from 1 December to 4 January counts. Are you an annual pass holder or visiting with a group or class? You too can contribute to our cause. You don’t pay a cent extra and you don’t have to do anything yourself.
After the Christmas break, we’ll let you know whether we’ve reached or – who knows? – even exceeded our target. However many tickets or visits we count, we’ll give the chance to buy a ticket for €2 to as many people.

Are you already a registered holiday-maker with Iedereen Verdient Vakantie (Everyone Deserves a Holiday), or are you eligible? Then you can go to Technopolis, individually or in groups, starting on 20 December, for €2 per ticket.

Make your own and other people’s dreams come true

Make all sorts of discoveries in our new and revamped exhibitions and zones.
Help a programmer escape a digital prison during our new show ESCape. (At the weekend and during the Christmas holidays; NL).
Meet Rob-e, our first humanoid robot and learn what it can (and can’t) do. (NL).
Make super slime, launch paper airplanes, do chemical experiments and test sunscreen at a workshop. (Only during the Christmas holidays, reservation on site.)

Handing on the torch

Technopolis turned 25 in 2025. Many people in Flanders have already enjoyed the anniversary celebrations thanks to numerous special offers based around the number 25. With the end of the year approaching, we wanted to launch one last offer. We’re deliberately doing this together with Iedereen Verdient Vakantie, which – like us – believes that leisure is a fundamental right. What’s more, Iedereen Verdient Vakantie itself will turn 25 in 2026. So we’re symbolically handing on the torch so that doors can continue to be opened to more fun, relaxation and amazement for everyone in Flanders.
