Non-stop livestreams

Recharge your batteries with live science
In need of a time-out? Make yourself comfortable in our new cinema and enjoy all-day live streaming.

Take a peek at the earth from space, watch the slowest experiment of all time or observe wild animals without them seeing you. We show fascinating livestreams combined with fun facts and figures throughout the day.
ISS

Live image streaming

We play livestreams continuously (almost) every day. Depending on when you come, you will get to see different images. Space and nature are common themes, but we alternate regularly. So you never know in advance what surprise we have in store for you.

Facts and figures

What happens to astronauts’ pee? Which animal lays cube-shaped eggs? Does time go slower on the ISS? How many roundworms are born every day? Our cinema not only makes you calmer, it also makes you smarter by the minute!

Just recharge

There’s nothing more soothing as staring endlessly at satellite images or watching tar drip slowly down. Our cinema is the ideal place to recharge your batteries for a while. We can’t guarantee that our cinema will always be stimulus-free, but we keep an eye out.

Traagste experiment pek

Mostly open

The cinema is accessible to visitors from opening to closing time most days, but sometimes it will be closed. On these days, we use it as a recording studio to make our own fun science videos.

What you need to know

Fun for all ages and freely accessible to everyone. Also open on school days.
In the cinema (ground floor, to the right of the megaball track).
We kindly ask you to be quiet in our cinema so that other visitors can enjoy themselves in peace. If anyone causes a disturbance, we unfortunately have to close our cinema.
Low stimulus day experiment

Need a completely stimulus-free outing?

About three times a year, we organise a low-stimulus day when there’s no school. We also make a stimulus basket available at reception throughout the year and you can consult a visual roadmap and a sensory guide.
