How much does a visit cost?
A standard adult ticket costs €28, and a child ticket is €23. You can find a handy overview of all prices on the ticket page, where you can also calculate the total. For groups of 15 or more, visits start from just €10 per child.
Everything is included
A ticket gives you access to all our exhibitions and zones. Workshops during school holidays and live entertainment are included at no extra cost. Even parking is free!
Save with an annual pass
If you visit several times a year, an annual pass can quickly save you money. Not only do you get unlimited access all year, but you also enjoy plenty of fun extras.Decide to purchase an annual pass during your visit, and we’ll refund your day ticket(s)!
Get 40% off your train ticket
Every ticket purchased through our website comes with a code. You can use it to get 40% off your round-trip train tickets to Mechelen, valid on the day of your visit.
For all ages
Age 4 is a great time to start your first investigation — but younger is fine too. We don’t have strict age limits. An experiment or exhibit can still be fun even if you don’t understand all the explanations.And adults? They join in, think, and experiment too. Parents, aunts, uncles… no sitting on the sidelines here. Teenagers can also be highly recommended for a visit.
Rain or sunshine…
Technopolis is always a fun destination! Most of our exhibitions and activities are indoors, which means it’s nice and warm in winter and always dry in spring and autumn.
During the summer holidays, we offer extra fun science activities outside, so you can enjoy the sun while having the option to cool off indoors.
Our app, your guide
At Technopolis, there are no real tour guides — and that’s a good thing, because everything here is about discovering new things yourself, at your own pace. To help you along, we now have our app. It has everything from “Wow, how does that work?” to “What time does the show start?” and “Where can I hang my coat?”
Eat and drink on site
Fancy sitting down for a proper meal? Or craving a snack before diving back into our exhibitions? At Technopolis, there’s something for everyone. Everything is lovingly prepared, with a completely new menu that includes four different explorer boxes for kids.
Open on Sundays and public holidays
Technopolis is open almost every day of the year. During school periods, we’re open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. During the Flemish carnival, Easter, autumn, and Christmas holidays, we stay open an extra hour, until 6:00 PM.
Quiet moments
Prefer to avoid the crowds? Consider visiting on a Wednesday afternoon or on weekends when the weather is nice. Even on school days, the museum is usually very calm from 3:00 PM until closing at 5:00 PM.
