Visiting days schools

In school periods (according to the Flemish school calendar) Technopolis is open almost every day from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, except on Wednesdays. In order to offer your pupils the best care possible, Technopolis receives groups from different levels of education on separate days.

For practical reasons, please always book your class visit in advance.

Visiting days for schools

  • Preschool: Monday and Tuesday
  • Primary: Monday, Thursday and Friday (1st and 2nd year not on Mondays)
  • Secondary: Tuesday and sometimes Monday*

* In the 2025 – 2026 school year the following Mondays are reserved for secondary school students only: 13 October, 17 November, 26 January, 2 February, 9 February, 2 March, 9 March, 16 March, 23 March, 27 April en 4 May.

When is Technopolis closed during the Flemish school term?

  • Every Wednesday morning (during the Flemish school term only)
  • From 1 up to and including 8 September 2026

On weekends and during school holidays (according to the Flemish school calendar) different opening hours for visitors may apply.
